JOB DESCRIPTION •
Job Title: Operations Executive, LPG
• Reports to: Global Head of Operations
• Location: Dubai
• Job Summary: To coordinate and monitor operations process supporting LPG Trading desk
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle LPG operations in the Asia, AG, Red Sea and East Africa regions
• Check LPG purchase/sale contracts and amendments
• Follow up compliance with deadlines
• Coordinate loading/discharge of sea-going vessels
• Coordinate LPG floater operations proactively and in all aspects of shipping operations including for TC vessels.
• Clear and detailed instructions always consistent with contract - cover all operational functions related to the contract
• Receive and understand all information on the Financing side of the business (issuing bank, advising bank, L/Cs, open account etc.)
• Follow up on inspection processes • Coordinate and monitor STS operations which include liaising/scheduling and coordinating with STS provider, ship agents, inspectors specialized in refrigerated cargoes to pressurized LPGs and the masters of the TC vessels.
• Day to day follow up on contracts and deliveries including related operational matters
• Nominations to vessel shipbrokers, inspectors and other parties including checking of fixtures on subs, highlighting to relevant trader/team any points in the fixture which can have direct or indirect consequences on operations, including related contracts - cover operational aspects related to the chartered vessels
• Handling of any designated storage contracts and operations
• Responsibility for insurance and certificates

Key Roles And Responsibilities- Ensure that LNG Operations fully complies with Shell’s internal standards incl. compliance and HSSE, paying special attention to HSSE hazards and risks that may have impact on vessels voyage or port operation.
- Ensure that all obligations arising from the charter parties are carried out, and that any necessary requirements are complied with.
- Collaborate with MTA to establish and maintain relationships with Ports and Terminals to ensure issues are successfully resolved
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, counter-parties and service providers, regulatory bodies, ship owners and agents
- Understand commercial impacts of marine technical actions making sure communications with the business are happening with correct information flow to aid Trading decisions
- Ensure that all operational information is entered into Trading systems.
- Liaise with counterparts to ensure smooth operations, avoid delays and minimize demurrage costs.
- Arrange Bunkers and OPL activities as required by the vessel
- Close out the charter parties accounting for all costs, including TCP claims and obtain sign-off from Chartering.
- Pro-actively close out operational related disputes, including COU issues, with external and internal counterparts or support and guide less experienced team members where necessary.
- Develop commercial acumen on the workability of proposed marine arrangements for new projects, new contracts and spot cargoes
